Paper I   

  • This Paper covers English literature from 16th to the end of 19th century.

  • Consists of 5 Poets, 2 Playwrights and 7 Novelists. (From Shakespeare to Mark Twain)

  • Socio-political and literary background of these writers.

 

Paper II

  • This Paper covers English literature in 20th century.

  • Consists of 5 Poets, 2 Playwrights and 7 Novelists. (From W.B. Yeats to V.S. Naipaul)

  • Socio-political and literary background of these writers.

  • Literary theories which made an appearance in 20th cen – Post-colonial criticism, modernist criticism, feminist criticism etc.

PROCESS

  • Admission Started. Admission would be on a first come first served basis.

  • Fees can be paid through Online mode only.

  • Students will be given a user ID and password to access the live online classes on the Zoom platform.

  • Classes will be conducted live as per the class schedule.

  • If you miss a scheduled live class, a recorded video of the class will be available in your account.

  • Recorded sessions can be accessed from "Our Learning App." 

  • The recorded videos will be available in your account until the main exam.
